Which Page Do I Need?
Most questions about LeoVegas fall into one of four groups, and each group has its own guide. If you are not sure where your question belongs, this is the quick way to decide.
"When will my money arrive?"
That is a timing question. Read Withdrawal Times: it sets out how long each method takes, why weekends and bank holidays stretch the numbers, and why the first cash-out is usually the slowest.
"Why hasn't it moved?"
If the request is sitting in the cashier marked pending, that is a status question. Pending Withdrawals walks through what holds a payout and what you can do about each cause.
"Is the bonus worth it?"
Free Spins breaks down the 3,000-spin welcome offer, what 20x wagering means in dollars and when it pays to skip the bonus. The calculator there does the arithmetic for you.
"Can I trust them?"
The licence, the owner and the complaints route are on the main review. How we check those facts, and how this site is paid for, is on About Us.
One rule of thumb before you go digging: anything that depends on your own account (a stuck payment, a locked login, a bonus that did not appear) can only be answered by LeoVegas itself. Live chat is open around the clock, and it helps to have the time of the transaction and the amount to hand when you open it.
Everything else, such as how a feature works, what a term means or how long something normally takes, is general and the guides here cover it. Where LeoVegas publishes a figure, we use that figure. Where it doesn't, we say so rather than guess.
What Changed for NZ Players in 2026
A lot of the older answers you will find about LeoVegas online are out of date. These are the changes that affect New Zealand players most, with how things were before and how they are now.
| Topic | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| NZ law | No licensing regime for online casinos; offshore sites operated in a grey area | Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 in force from 1 May 2026; up to 15 licences, issued by the DIA |
| Deadline | None | From 1 Dec 2026 operators without a licence or approved exemption must stop serving NZ players |
| Mobile | Browser site only | iOS app launched in May 2026; Android still uses the browser |
| Bank payments | POLi was a common way to pay gambling sites | POLi withdrawn from NZ gambling merchants; open-banking rules since 1 Dec 2025 |
| Welcome offer | Matched deposit bonuses with higher wagering were the norm on older reviews | Up to NZ$1,000 cash + 3,000 free spins, unlocked by 20x wagering within 14 days |
| Ownership | LeoVegas AB, listed in Stockholm | Part of MGM Resorts International since 2022 |
The first two rows are the ones to watch. LeoVegas holds a Malta licence, but that does not by itself let it keep serving New Zealand after 1 December 2026. Whether it takes up one of the new NZ licences had not been announced when we last checked. If you keep a balance at any offshore casino, it is worth withdrawing well ahead of that date rather than finding out the hard way.

Terms You Will Meet in the Answers
A few words come up again and again in the answers above and in LeoVegas's own terms. Here is what each one means in plain English.
| Term | What it means at LeoVegas |
|---|---|
| Wagering (playthrough) | How much you must bet before a reward is released. The NZ welcome offer uses 20x within 14 days. |
| Contribution | How much of each bet counts towards wagering: pokies 100%, table games and video poker 10%, live casino 0%. |
| RTP | Return to player: the share of all bets a game pays back over the long run. Most modern pokies sit near 96%. |
| Volatility | How swingy a game is. High volatility means long dry runs and rare big wins. |
| Pending | A withdrawal you have requested that LeoVegas has not yet processed. You can cancel it until it is. |
| KYC | "Know your customer": the ID, address and payment checks every licensed casino must do before paying out. |
| My Offers | The page in your account where bonuses and free spins are opted into and claimed. There are no bonus codes. |
| The Club | LeoVegas's invite-only VIP programme, with a personal account manager. |
About This FAQ
Why is this FAQ a table instead of a long list?
Because most questions have a one-line answer and a longer explanation somewhere else. The table gives you the one line and a link, and you can sort it by topic to see everything about payouts or bonuses together.
How often is the table updated?
Each time a guide it points to is updated, and at least whenever we re-check the welcome offer. The Facts checked date at the bottom of this page is the last full pass.
My question is not in the table. What now?
Start with the main LeoVegas review, which covers the basics in one place. For anything about your own account, the LeoVegas live chat is the only place that can look it up.
Are these answers the official LeoVegas terms?
No. They are summaries of the official NZ pages, written in plain English. The bonus card and the cashier in your account are what you actually agree to.
